Arrest and court appearance following College Street incident

Gardaí in Pearse Street arrested a woman in relation to an assault at a property in College Street, Dublin 2 on Sunday morning 11th October at approximately 10a.m.

In a statement, an Garda Siochana said:

“Two women were disputing and a member of staff interceded and was stabbed.

“The staff member received non-life threatening injuries and he was taken to St. James’ Hospital by ambulance.

“The woman (18 years) was arrested at the scene and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station where she was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

“She has since been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear before Court Number 3, Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Monday 12th October, 2020 at 10.30a.m.

“Investigations ongoing.”
