Down Syndrome Centre picks up two Polos

Dublin People 20 Jul 2013

STAFF from the Down Syndrome Centre visited MSL in glorious sunshine recently where their mood was even more uplifted when presented with two new Volkswagen Polos sponsored by MSL Sandyford Volkswagen.

The cars will be utilised by the fundraising team, helping to raise awareness of the charity that is currently raising funds to open a new centre in the Sandyford area.

The centre will be dedicated to providing services and facilities relevant to families and carers of people with Down Syndrome.

Occupational therapy, speech and language and physiotherapy as well as seminars, workshops, networking and daily respite will be on offer to families once the doors have opened.

MSL Motor Group Managing Director Brendan Grace and MSL Sandyford Volkswagen Brand Manger Simon Barrett, handed the keys over to Peter Gaw, founder of the charity, who has two children of his own with Down Syndrome.
