The South Dublin Special Olympics Club gymnasts have been having a wonderful time and sharing memorable experiences.

Just over three weeks ago, a group of seven rhythmic gymnasts, accompanied by parents and Coaches, Liz and Helen travelled to Oslo, Norway to participate in an Invitational International.

They represented their Club and country against the best from other nations and made everyone proud.

Two days of strenuous gymnastic routines were followed by sightseeing in the Northern Capital and a long flight home.

Last weekend the business was more serious.

On November 17th the highly anticipated Inter Clubs Regional Games took place at the SETU Campus in Waterford, the Games, hosted by Special Olympics Munster.

This time twelve South Dublin gymnasts, accompanied by coaches Maria and Liz, showcased their talents against the other regions in the country.

They wore their fabulous new leotards, a royal blue design adorned with glistening sequins.

The girls were well-practiced and in top form and performed with confidence and personality.

More success, more medals, happy parents and coaches.

Well done everyone.
