Local artist Selló announced as grand marshall of Clondalkin’s St Patrick’s Day Parade

Local rapper Selló has been announced as the Grand Marshall for this year’s Clondalkin St Patrick’s Day Parade.

Independent councillor and member of the organising committee Francis Timmons said the local artist is a “model for young people”.

“Selló’s music is a fusion of traditional Irish culture with the modern drill/ hip hop sound, he has pioneered Gaelic Drill.”

“2022 was a huge year in the life of the Clondalkin rapper Selló. #

“He signed up to Warner Music and released his debut project ‘SellóTape’ and had a sell out show in The Academy.

“The future is bright for this talented rapper who recently appeared on the Late Late Show.”
