The Civic Theatre and Rua Red in Tallaght have received €240,000 and €43,000 respectively in arts council funding.
The Government body said that the sector has been “disproportionately” hit during the ongoing pandemic but artists are making “great art for the public to experience in the months ahead.”
Fianna Fail TD for Dublin south west John Lahart said: “This has been an extremely challenging year for artists, it’s vital that the sector continues to receive the support it requires to ensure that the core infrastructure of the arts landscape survives the most challenging period it has ever faced.
“The pandemic has highlighted just how important the arts are to all our lives.
“Today’s funding will go some way towards helping the sector to sustain artists and organisations severely impacted by Covid-19,” he said.
