Some students from a primary school in west Dublin have been sent home following a positive case of Covid-19.

This follows yesterday’s reports of a school in Rathcoole sending a class home after one of the children tested positive for Covid-19.

In a letter to parents yesterday, the west Dublin school said all who had not been contacted by the HSE should attend school as normal.

They also urged parents to remain calm and continue as normal, saying situations such as these are going to be the new normal.

The school say it would follow all protocols from the Department of Education and HSE in dealing with the situation.
