SUPER duo Versatile, who recently performed to a sold-out audience at the 3Arena, showed up to lend their support to a local Young Person’s Awards Night.

RICCY’s (Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre Youth service) Youth Café in Irishtown, host the annual event to recognise young people’s potential and positive contribution to their community.

Versatile, who have been astonishing fans with their rise to fame, hail from Ringsend, the community that is served by RICCY’s.

Over 100 young people engage in the youth service every week in a variety of different educational, recreational and developmental programmes.

RICCY’s creates a safe space for young people to participate, empowering them to fulfil their potential and provide positive opportunities.

The excitement at the ceremony was palpable, as the young people had no idea who the guest appearance was.

When it was revealed it was the hottest duo to come out of Ringsend in recent years, the young people couldn’t contain their excitement.

Speaking at the event, youth leader, Niamh Smith, said: “We are just so proud of our young people and all the work they do.

“I wanted to give them a night to remember and what better way than to invite Versatile, the group on everyone’s lips in Ringsend and Irishtown.”
