Man and woman arrested in connection with the murder of Lisa Thompson

Gardaí have today arrested a man and a woman (both 30s) in connection with the murder of Lisa Thompson, whose body was discovered on Tuesday, 10th May 2022 at her home in Sandyhill Gardens, Ballymun, Dublin 11.

A spokesperson for the Gardaí said that the man and woman are both detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at separate Dublin Garda Stations.

The body of the mother of two was found in her home after being stabbed several times.

Gardaí say that Thompson, 52, may have been dead for some time before being discovered.
