GARDAÍ have issued an appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic incident on Kilshane Road last week.

Two male pedestrians, one aged in his mid-60s and the other in his mid-50s, were seriously injured when they were struck by a car at around 6.30am on Tuesday, September 26.
Both men were taken to James Connolly Hospital. One was later transferred to St James hospital.
The road was closed off to allow a forensic collision team investigate the scene.
Gardaí say they are appealing for witnesses who may have been on Kilshane Road, Cappagh Road or in the general area between 6am and 7am on the morning of the accident.
They are particularly asking any motorists with a dash cam in their vehicle to check if they have any footage that may help with the investigation.
