Sow’s Ear Art Collective’s debut exhibition – Holding Space on Culture Night
Padraig Conlon 06 Sep 2024The Sow’s Ear Art Collective has announced its inaugural art exhibition ‘HOLDING SPACE’, is set to take place on Culture Night, Friday, 20th September, at 8pm at the Bayside Community Centre.
This highly anticipated event marks the first public showcase of works by the collective since its establishment in 2023.
The Sow’s Ear Art Collective is a small, vibrant group of artists who gather to create, ruminate, explore, and share ideas.
The collective is dedicated to fostering a supportive community where artists can freely express their creativity and push the boundaries of their artistic practices.
The exhibition will feature a diverse range of artwork, reflecting the unique styles and perspectives of each member.
From painting and sculpture to mixed media, attendees can expect a dynamic display of creativity and innovation.
The event offers an opportunity to engage with the artists, learn about their creative processes, and gain insight into the themes that inspire their work.
“We’re excited to finally share what we’ve been working on with the public,” said Karen Lee, a spokesperson for the Sow’s Ear Art Collective.
