Respond launches applications for 55 new Cost Rental Homes in Rush

Respond, an Approved Housing Body and services provider, have announced that applications for 55 new cost rental homes in Rush have now opened.

Cost Rental housing is open to people who do not qualify for social housing but whose net household income is less than €53,000 per annum.

These modern, high-quality homes have been developed in partnership with Fingal County Council, the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and the Housing Finance Agency with the aim of providing affordable and secure accommodation for families and individuals in the area.

The development comprises of seven two-bedroom houses, 19 one-bedroom apartments and 29 two-bedroom apartments; all of which have been designed to the highest standard with modern appliances and fittings.

The properties are located in a prime location, close to local amenities such as shops, schools and transport links.

Mariners Way is within walking distance of Rush North and South Beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag.

The homes are classified as A2 rated low energy / low CO2 homes, making home heating more cost effectives.

The Cost Rental housing model is designed to provide secure, affordable housing for people, with rents set at a level that covers the cost of the construction, management and maintenance of the new homes only.

Cost Rental offers a long-term, secure and affordable tenancy option.

All Cost Rental rents are set at a minimum of 25% below the market rents in the area where the homes are located.

1 Bedroom Apartments €910

2 Bedroom Apartments €1,155

2 Bedroom Houses          €1,260
