Man arrested in connection with drug related intimidation in Dublin 17

As part of Operation Fogra, Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in connection with drug related intimidation in the Dublin 17 area today.

In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: “Personnel attached to the Coolock and Raheny District Drugs Unit conducted the search of a residential premises in Dublin 17.

“During the course of the search, Gardaí recovered high end clothing such as Canada Goose, Moncler and Gucci jackets and runners worth in the region €8,000, an imitiation firearm and a small quantity of drugs.

“A man aged in his early 40s was arrested at the scene and taken to a North Dublin Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

“He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear at Court 4 of the CCJ later this afternoon.”

Investigations are ongoing.
