Temporary Do Not Swim notice issued for Loughshinny Beach has been lifted

The temporary Do Not Swim notice issued  for Loughshinny Beach has been lifted.

According to Fingal County Council, results received today from bathing water sample taken on the July 13, 2022 gave a result of ‘excellent’ status for water quality.

All other Fingal identified bathing waters met excellent results from sampling taken on July 11th.

The next scheduled bathing water sampling date is Monday 25th July.

Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
