Do not Swim Notice lifted from Rush South Beach
Padraig Conlon 12 Jul 2021Following a return to “excellent” status at Rush South Beach in the results of laboratory analysis the issued Prohibition (Do not swim) notice has been lifted.
Bathing Water quality results for resamples taken at Rush South and Portrane on Thursday June 8, revealed both results met the standard for “excellent” water quality.
The prohibition notice on Rush South beach has been lifted.
All Fingal identified beaches have now a standard of Excellent water quality in latest sampling.
The next scheduled seawater sampling date is Monday July 19.
Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
