St Itas Hospital Portrane to have full line-up on Christmas Day

St Ita’s Hospital Radio 89.5fm will have a full presenter line-up from 7am to 10pm on Christmas Day 2020 for listeners to enjoy.

It all kicks off at 7am with Station Manager Tom Noctor presenting the breakfast show for the patients and staff in hospital.

“This is something that we have been planning over the last number of months to operate a full days broadcasting with presenters from 7am to 10pm on Christmas Day,” Tom told Northside People.

“St Ita‘s Hospital staff have worked very hard during the phased lock down periods of 2020.

“I believe it‘s a fitting tribute to all involved in the hospital and the ancillary services connected to St Ita‘s Hospital especially for the year that we have experienced.

“We are also receiving messages from listeners who cannot be with their loved ones this year who live abroad and cannot travel home and people who may work or live in the surrounding areas of the hospital.

“The station is a vital tool keeping the spirits and minds positive during this current festive season and beyond.”
