Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply in parts of Swords and surrounding areas following a burst watermain.

Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible.

An Irish Water spokesperson said:

“Properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply while the repairs are underway; North Street, from Estuary Pub thru Roundabout/Estuary Road to Estuary; Newcourt; Spittal Hill  and surrounding areas.

“The repairs are expected to be completed by 5pm.

“Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored.

“Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.”
