PORTMARNOCK Art Group has announced the postponement of its 44th annual art exhibition due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The exhibition, featuring artists from Portmarnock and Malahide, was due to take place in the Grand Hotel, Malahide on Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22.
Paula Murray, a spokesperson for the group, said they are hoping to reschedule the exhibition for August.
Portmarnock Art Group was formed in 1976 when a group of local amateur artists in Portmarnock and Malahide came together to explore their love of art.
The group meets at St Anne’s Parish Centre in Portmarnock where they have lectures and talks with visiting professional artists and illustrators. Throughout the year they have workshop demonstrations and meet for paint together sessions locally.
