Motor show to feature a classic Jaguar XJ 220

Dublin People 28 Jun 2013

THE 22nd consecutive running of Ireland’s biggest classic car show, the Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show, takes place in the beautiful grounds of Terenure College on Sunday, July 7.

Organised by the Irish Jaguar & Daimler Club, this year’s premier event follows on the tremendous success of previous shows with a promise that an even better display of collectable cars is on the cards.

One of the many attractions at this year’s show will be the Jaguar XJ220 produced between 1992 and 1994 with a speed in excess of 320kmh.

The work of the Irish Jaguar & Daimler Club, together with the support of exhibitors and the public, enables charities to benefit and this year that generous support is going to both the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice and the National Maternity Hospital Foundation.

AXA Concourse Classic Car Insurance is supporting the event, and they will be showing a fine collection of their customers’ cars on their extensive stand.

The President of the Irish Jaguar & Daimler Club, Paddy Daly, said:

“Once again we are delighted to be working with AXA as enthusiastic supporters of this event, in helping us to put on a great show.

Radio Stations Sunshine 106.8fm and Dublin South fm will be broadcasting live with live interviews, requests and dedications. For further information on the event log onto www.irishjagclub.ie.
