One Act Drama Festival

Dundrum One Act Drama Festival returns to the dlr Mill Theatre Dundrum from November 8-10.

The festival offers an opportunity to see nine plays produced by drama groups from around Ireland in one whirlwind weekend. Each night will consist of three one act plays followed by an informative review by Festival Adjudicator, Geoff O'Keeffe.

Shows will start promptly at 8pm on Friday and Saturday night, and 7pm on Sunday night. For full details see www.milltheatre.ie.

Vue National Contemporary Art Fair

The best of cutting edge art will be showcased by Ireland’s leading galleries at Vue, the National Contemporary Art Fair at the Royal Hibernian Academy, from November 7-10.

Atelier Maser will feature ‘post-street art’ pieces by the creator of the Repeal The 8th mural and three of the artists attached to his studio in Charlemont Street.

Atelier Maser will also feature well-known Dublin street artist Aches who will show some of his smaller works at Vue.

His notable installations in the city include the U Are Alive mural on Camden Street and the Savita Halappanavar mural which was painted at the Bernard Shaw Pub on South Richmond Street.

Also featured will be the bold palettes of Peter Doyle, who honed his skills through street art, and Stephen Burke who works with tiles that have been graffitied and then washed. For more information see vueartfair.ie

Remembrance Run

This year’s Remembrance Run 5K takes place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday November 10 at 11am. It’s a unique event that encourages people of all ages and all levels of fitness to walk, jog or run and remember family and friends passed, or others who may be currently struggling with illness or life challenges. Insomnia Gaming Festival Dublin

One of the world's biggest gaming festivals is coming to Dublin! Insomnia Gaming Festival is a weekend of non-stop gaming as the best players battle to be crowned Insomnia Dublin champion.

Dublin Mind Body Experience

The Dublin Mind Body Experience returns to the RDS on November 8-10. It’s actually four events in one venue, with 190 exhibitors, 75 hours of free talks & workshops and free yoga and meditation classes. The Knitting & Stitching Show

Ireland’s longest running textile show is returning to Dublin’s RDS for its 26th year from Thursday, November 7 to Sunday, November 10. There will be hundreds of workshops, demonstrations, interactive features, as well as 150 of the most loved exhibitors selling specialist craft supplies.

Dublin Winter Wine Festival

The O’Brien’s Winter Wine Festival is back at The Printworks, Dublin Castle, on Friday and Saturday, November 8 & 9. This year there will be over 75 of the world's most renowned wineries represented with over 340 wines to try.

It’s an opportunity to increase your wine knowledge, attend free masterclasses and spend time with some of the world's most iconic winemakers travelling from destinations including Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the US.

Remembrance Concert

Lassus presents Remembrance Concert 2019 in St Mary's Church, Haddington Road, Dublin 8 on Saturday November 9 at 7.30pm.

This very special concert is in remembrance of those who died in the Great War and it pays particular tribute to Irish statesman Thomas Kettle who, aged 36, lost his life in the Battle of the Somme.

Poetry commemorating the Great War by Irish poets including Thomas Kettle, George Russell and WB Yeats will be read by two of Ireland's foremost actors, Dawn Bradfield and Mark O'Regan. For details see www.dublinchoralfoundation.ie.
