American juggernaut Kaskade has Dublin date

KASKADE is coming to Dublin’s Academy on Wednesday, November 9 for one night only as part of his European tour.

Having been through the trenches as an original recording artist, producer and in-demand DJ for more than a decade, the American juggernaut that is Kaskade continues to be at the forefront of the dance music scene. Breaking down barriers and shattering records, he’s created a career of unprecedented milestones for himself and the industry.

He is the first US DJ to secure a Las Vegas residency and the first solo electronic dance artist to sell-out the Barclays Center, as well as the first dance artist to sell-out Navy Pier and the Staples Center during his Freaks of Nature Tour, which was deemed “the only successful national stadium tour undertaken by a solo ‘EDM’ artist” by Billboard.

Crowned by The New York Times as “the new face of electronic dance music,” Kaskade has laid the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift that has captured the imagination of a new generation of fans across North America.

n 2011, he earned his first Grammy nomination for his double-album ‘Fire & Ice’, which debuted at No 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

He would later release his well-received eighth studio album ‘Atmosphere’ in 2013. The album celebrates the powerhouse’s brute force as an artist and producer.

Not only did Atmosphere score 12 Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, it also earned Kaskade his second and third Grammy nominations for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album.

With his unique creative prowess, the two-time ‘America’s Best DJ”’title holder has created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lana Del Rey to Beyoncé.

He recently released his much-anticipated single, ‘A Little More’ with John Dahlbäck featuring Sansa.

Five years in the making, the single is an uplifting melody dominated by Kaskade’s signature lyrics and sublime vocal treatment. It currently holds firm at the No 1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House chart.

Within the first week of its release, ‘A Little More’ became Spotify’s eighth most viral single in the world.

Kaskade closed out the summer season having performed and headlined at more than 100 shows and festivals, including the US-inaugural Mysteryland held at the iconic Bethel Woods – the birthplace of Woodstock, the World Cup’s Casa Pele Do Fútebol, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and TomorrowWorld.
