Jobs boost for Clonshaugh

THERE was good news on the local employment front recently after fuel and convenience retailer Topaz opened its newest service station at Northern Cross, Clonshaugh, creating 35 new jobs.

Topaz have invested
?¬4.5 million at the site which will serve the residents of Clonshaugh, Balgriffin, Donaghmede and surrounding areas, as well as the many frequent road users who pass through the area.
Re.Store, Topaz’s brand new retail concept, is a key feature at Topaz Northern Cross, and is set to revolutionise perceptions of forecourt food.
The station has been developed as part of Topaz’s ongoing investment and commitment to communities across Ireland, which will see the Re.Store concept introduced to company-owned forecourts nationwide.
On hand to unveil the brand new store at Northern Cross were Topaz ambassador, former Munster and Ireland rugby star Alan Quinlan, and Irish footballer and FIFA Puskas Award finalist, Stephanie Roche, alongside store manager Agnis Punculs and Paul Candon, group marketing director at Topaz.
Mr Candon said they were delighted to announce the new jobs at Clonshaugh.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming our new customers to Clonshaugh and want to thank and wish our staff all the very best as they continue to deliver top quality customer care to the local community and road users travelling through the area,
? he said.
Mr Punculs added:
“We are really excited to open the Topaz store in Northern Cross and serving the local community.
“The new station has so much to offer and will be a fantastic addition to the area. The team and I are committed to delivering service that’s truly worth stopping for.

The jobs were created in a partnership between Topaz and Supermac’s.
Pat McDonagh of Supermac’s said they were delighted with how the outlet has turned out.
“It is receiving great support from the people of Clonshaugh and its surrounds already, for which we are extremely grateful,

“We would like to thank our staff and the tradesmen who did such an excellent job in getting the premises ready for business.
