DUBLIN’s

‘X-Factor’ star Mary Byrne was on hand recently to lend her support to an exciting fundraising campaign from Dogs Trust.

The

‘Pin & Support’ campaign aims to raise

?¬100K and help save the lives of an additional 500 puppies every year in the new Dogs Trust purpose built puppy wing extension.

The campaign will see teams of fundraisers based in various sites around Ireland selling Dogs Trust pins for

?¬10, which will then entitle the purchaser to be entered into a draw to be in with a chance to win a brand new Skoda Fabia Ambition.

Speaking at the launch, Mary said:

‘It’s an honour to be part of this great campaign.

“I am a huge animal lover and fan of the incredible work Dogs Trust does. I just hope people all over Ireland buy a pin and show their support too.’ Kathrina Bentley, head of communications at Dogs Trust, said everybody at the animal welfare charity was

“very excited

? about the campaign

“As a charity that receives no Government funding, we always have to look at new ways to raise the money to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome all the gorgeous pups and dogs in our care,

? she stated.

“It’s great to know that one of our lucky supporters will win a brand new Skoda car, too.
