Balbriggan initiative to target foreign companies

BALBRIGGAN has received a boost with news that it is to be presented as a location to foreign companies that are considering setting up in Ireland.

A promotional initiative, which included a video of the attributes designed to attract foreign investment in the town, was presented at a recent Fingal County Council Local Area meeting.
Local company, Fletcher Bentley, based at Fumbally Exchange, Railway Street, in Balbriggan’s creative quarter, undertook the project.

Local councillor Tony Murphy (Ind) welcomed the completion of the initiative.

“This is the first time that Balbriggan will be presented to foreign companies considering establishing a base in Ireland,

? Cllr Murphy told Northside People.

“It is a project that has been a year in the making and, thanks to the support of Fingal County Council, Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce and local creative talent, has been brought to completion on time and within budget.

“I am delighted to have been part of this exciting process and look forward to seeing the benefits of both the video and the new close working relationship emerging between the Industrial Development Authority, Fingal County Council and Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce.
