Enterprise Week to attract local businesses
Dublin People 07 Sep 2013
OVER 1,500 small businesses are expected at Fingal Enterprise Week, the largest initiative of its kind in the country.

Fingal’s small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will once again take centre stage at this year’s event, which runs from September 30 to October 4.
Now in its seventh year, the week will host over 20 major business events, as well as workshops, mentoring clinics and networking opportunities across the region.
Both new and established businesses will welcome the opportunity on day one to gain insights from Senator Feargal Quinn, guest speaker at the
‘Great Customer Care Builds Strong Business’ event. RTE’s Keelin Shanley will host the networking highlight of the week at Fingal County Hall where the winner of the 2013 award will also be announced.
Oisin Geoghegan, chief executive of Fingal County Enterprise Board, said small businesses and new start-ups can flourish in Fingal but key supports delivered at a local level were vital.
“In today’s fast moving, globally-focused markets, it can be difficult for entrepreneurs, established or aspiring, to see where the opportunities for improvement and growth are,
? he stated.
“Working in tandem with other organisations and State agencies in the region, Fingal Enterprise Week 2013 will focus on helping small business owners and new start-ups develop expertise in areas of business that will both support and drive growth, laying the foundations for long term successful enterprises.

Organised and coordinated by Fingal County Enterprise Board, Fingal Enterprise Week 2013 is sponsored by Vodafone Ireland, Fingal County Council, Bank of Ireland and Regus with Newstalk as official media partner.
