Raheny windsurfer wins championship

RAHENY
windsurfer Mikey Clancy won the IWA Irish Wave Windsurfing Championships in
near perfect conditions at Elly Beach, Belmullet, County Mayo,

The Surfdock sponsored
two-day event completed three full rounds of competition with Mikey claiming
first place overall with Rob Jones and Oisin Van Gelderan both sharing joint
second and Mark Killeen third.

Mikey, a 21-year-old
student at DIT and a professional windsurfer, is looking for a major Irish
sponsor for the 2012 PWA World Windsurfing Tour.
