Petmania to welcome pet owners as they pioneer convenient animal microchipping outside of vet clinics at walk in event

Petmania has extended their service offering to include in-store microchipping services.

They will be the first company in Ireland outside of veterinary clinics to offer the service, making it more convenient than ever for pet identification.

Petmania is welcoming the public to their stores this Saturday, October 7, between 9am and 11am, for a walk-in microchipping event where they can learn more about the service offering and even get their beloved pet microchipped on site.

Microchipping will be available by appointment after this date.

A recent study conducted by Petmania on pet owners in Ireland showed that almost 88% of respondents had their pet microchipped.

Microchipping is a legal requirement for dogs in Ireland however it is also beneficial to identify your pet in the case that they become lost.

This service has bee rolled out in Petmania stores nationally.

Petmania has 15 stores across Ireland with over 260 employees and the largest dog grooming business in the country.
