Request for help from readers

We are putting out a request for help from our readers following a message we received from a visitor to Dublin.

Zoe Powell, who lives in Buckinghamshire, UK, sent us the following this morning:

“I’m the wife of Bellamy Roth, who was visiting Dublin over the weekend to attend a trade event.

“My husband left his bear in his hotel room on Monday morning when he checked out.

“The hotel was The Riu Plaza Gresham Dublin.

“We are distraught at the thought of losing our 30 year old bear.

“It would mean the world if you can please publish this story to try to track him down.

“My husband checked out Monday 6 March in the morning around 10am, he was staying in Room 2268.

“He checked in on Sunday 5 March for 1 night and is called Bellamy Roth.

“We are certain Puffy the bear (pictured above) was caught up in the sheets.

“The hotel is huge and so they have told us they send the bed sheets to be laundered offsite at a linen company.

“But we cannot get to the bottom of who this company is?

“As we live in Buckinghamshire in England this is very hard for us, as we are not on the ground in Dublin.”
