DCC launches notifications service for mobile and email

Dublin City Council has today launched ‘DCC Alerts’, a free notification service that allows people to sign up to alerts for our services in their area.
The alerts cover a variety of topics including:
• New and Decided Planning Applications
• Severe Weather Warnings
• Water Outages and Boil Water Notices
• Bathing Water Quality Alerts
• River Height Sensors
In a statement published by the council, it said that the “DCC Alerts service will grow over time to include more council services.
“Signing up is easy and you can unsubscribe or change your account preferences at any time.
“By subscribing to this service you can specify your preferred location and ensure that you only receive alerts that are relevant to you.
“Alerts are received by email and SMS.”
