More than one million tune in to see the Toy Show

More than one million people are believed to have tuned in to see the Toy Show last night that raised over €5 million for charity.

With the theme of the night being ‘The Wonderful World of Roald Dalh’, host Ryan Tubridy and friends got the party started with a performance of It’s Oh So Quiet.

Families all over the country appeared on screen and children who are spending time in hospital or with LauraLynn and the Jack & Jill Foundation received a special shoutout.

Soe of the highlights included David Walliams answered questions sent by eight-year-old Saoirse from Tralee and Tubridy’s Shake ‘N Vac hoovering contest with siblings Grace (8) and James (6).
