Nearly €1.7 million in cannabis seized in Dublin

Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Dublin seized 82 kgs of herbal cannabis and 9 kgs of cannabis resin with a combined estimated value of €1,694,000.

The illicit drugs were discovered in parcels originating from Spain and were destined for addresses throughout Leinster.

The seizure came as a result of risk profiling and with the assistance of detector dog Milo,

Investigations are ongoing.
