Man arrested and charged in relation to serious assault on Aughrim Street

Gardaí from the Bridewell District investigating an incident of assault on Aughrim Street which occurred last Saturday night have arrested and charged a man.

The male (30’s) was detained at a Garda station in Dublin, under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

He has since been charged, and is due to appear before Court No. 4 of the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ)  at approximately 10.30am this morning.
