The grand finale of Legally Blonde:The Musical by the students of St. Tiernan’s Community School

AT the start of February, the students of St Tiernan’s Community School proudly presented their production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Our amazing cast made up of students from 2nd-6th year had been working hard all year to put together this fantastic production, and thankfully their efforts and dedication paid off in the form of three amazing shows!

Elle Woods, played by Cerys Costello Rodgers.

Emmett Forrest, played by Armaan Solkar.

Warner Huntington, played by Alex Miedjewski.

Paulette Buonofonte, played by Edith Mills.

Vivienne Kensignton, played by Ariana Charec.

Professor Callaghan, played by Youssef Hasaan.

Margot, played by Silvia Pita.

Serena, Played by Beatriz Galli Pim.

Pilar, played by Evelyn Benato.

Kate, played by Leslieann Pagan.

Enid Hoopes, played by Aadya Chaturevdi and Brooke Wyndham, played by Jessica English and extended cast.

On February 1st, we were delighted to welcome students from our local primary schools to watch the show.

The kids absolutely loved it, with delighted squeals and passionate “boos” coming at all the right moments!

Afterwards, it was amazing to see how much they looked up to the St Tiernan’s students – hanging back for as long as they possibly could to chat with and congratulate them.

On February 2nd we welcomed the families and friends of our school community for our evening performance.

The hall was buzzing with excitement and support for the students, who performed to rapturous applause.

Our Parents Association also held a very impressive raffle on the evening, giving away prizes from our many generous sponsors.

All in all, it was a marvellous occasion.

Finally, on February 3, the cast and crew put on their final show for our own students and staff.

While this performance may have been the one, they were most anxious for after all, who among us feels brave in front of an audience of our peers!?), the cast rose to the occasion and performed with pure heart, passion, and soul.

The acting, dancing, and singing were all of the highest calibre. Ms Bannigan and Ms Grant – director and choreographer – could not have been prouder of their fabulous students.

We will be sure to let the community know in advance of our next musical production, but for now, the students and staff involved are happy to enjoy the extra hours of the day and look back with fond memories.
