Delays following Luas crash at Smithfield

Luas Red Line services have been hit with delays after a road traffic incident at Smithfield.

A Luas spokesperson said that services are operating from Tallaght/Saggart to Blackhorse only and no services are running between Blackhorse to The Point and Connolly Station.

Tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the delays.

The tram, which was heading towards Connolly, was hit by a van on Tuesday morning.

There are no reported injuries, but Luas services are expected to be delayed for a number of hours.
