World Cup fever is gradually building as the Irish women’s team embark on their trip down under, and fans can get in on the action at Ireland’s biggest watch party in Blanchardstown.

The Sport Ireland Indoor Arena will host a watch party for the crunch fixture against hosts Australia on July 20th.

“We are incredibly excited to host the Women’s World Cup Watch Party to support Ireland,” said AnnMarie Farrelly, Chief Executive of Fingal County Council.

“This event is a testament to our commitment to women’s football within the community and the incredible achievements of Team Ireland. It’s an opportunity for fans to unite and celebrate the sport we love while cheering on our national team.”

Fans will be able to take part in a “best-dressed super fan” competition, with a signed Irish jersey up for grabs for the fan that shows their true colours on the day.

Doors will open on the day at 9.30am, leaving plenty of time for anticipation to build ahead of the big kick-off at 11am.

Tickets are free, and are available on Eventbrite.
