India Integration Fest is Returning to Kilbogget Park

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in collaboration with Social Space Ireland, are delighted to launch India Integration Fest 2024, taking place in Kilbogget Park, Cabinteely, on August 24 and will run from 10:30am until 7:00pm.

This free 1-day event with food, family fun and hundreds of performers will be a vibrant celebration, uniting diverse communities to honour the rich cultural heritage of various community groups in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and across the region.

It is proudly organised by Social Space Ireland, Cabinteely Football Club, along with local communities in collaboration with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

The event will start with sports and games from 10:30am, with cultural programs running from 11:30am until 7:00pm featuring performances by hundreds of talented artists and performers from around the world.

Speaking at the launch of the event, An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Jim O’Leary said:

“I’m delighted to be supporting India Integration Fest. It’s a wonderful day of culture, colour, food, music, dancing, and fun, and I’d encourage everybody to come along to Kilbogget Park for what should be a great day.”

India Integration Fest will offer attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant and diverse world of Indian and global music, dance, and culture.

Attendees can also enjoy a variety of Indian food, explore stalls, and experience carnival rides and more.

Director of Community & Cultural Services and Parks for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Therese Langan, congratulated the organisers of the event and said:

“India Integration Fest 2024 will be the third year that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are supporting this unique festival celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian music, dance and culture from various Indian community groups across dlr and beyond.

“We are delighted that this year the programme organisers have also included performers from other cultures and communities and that we are provided with opportunities to experience and enjoy multicultural community events, free of charge in our public parks and amenities.”
