Fifth person arrested in connection with fatal Kilmainham shooting

Gardaí have arrested a fifth person in relation to the fatal shooting of a man in his 30s that occurred at an underground carpark of a premises on the South Circular Road in Kilmainham, Friday, June 24 2022.

In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: “The man, aged in his 20s was arrested under a Section 42 warrant, Criminal Justice Act, 1999 and is currently detained at a city centre Garda station.

“The four persons arrested on Monday morning 15th May, 2023 all remain detained under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act, 2007 in various Garda stations across Dublin City.”
