Theme revealed for this year’s Clondalkin St Patrick’s Day parade

The theme for Clondalkin’s St Patrick’s Day parade this year has been revealed as “Diversity – The United Colours of Clondalkin.”

Local Independent councillor Francis Timmons, who is on the organising committe, said has grown “from strength to strength each year.”

“The parade is an opportunity to showcase all that is good about Clondalkin and the organisers are keen to show residents both new and older what groups are in our area.

“We are also calling out for funds and volunteers,’’ he says.

“This year we are asking all those taking part to add as much colour as possible to their entry – we want to make it the most colourful and diverse parade yet!

“The parade will start at 2.30pm and we will be announcing the grand marshal very soon,” he says.
