Gardaí charge one man arrested in connection with Clondalkin drug bust

Gardaí in Clondalkin have charged the man arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs and cash following a number of search warrants executed on Monday, April 18.

A statement released by a Garda spokesperson said: “The man (late 30s) that was detained at Clondalkin Garda station is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning Thursday 21st April, 2022 at 10.30a.m. charged in relation to the seizures.”

During the course of one search a seizure of cannabis with an estimated street value of €65,250 was seized along with cocaine with an estimated street value of €9,100. The drugs seized were sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

In a separate search of a premises €125,000 cash was seized.
