Gardaí responding to bomb threat at south Dublin secondary school

Gardaí are responding to a bomb threat made at a south Dublin secondary school this morning.

It is understood all staff and pupils that were present in the building were evacuated by school officials.

In a statement, Gardaí say that they are “investigating reports of a possible suspect device at a school in the Templeogue area.

“Gardaí have carried out extensive searches of the premises and a search operation remains ongoing currently. At this time no device or similar has been located.

“Enquiries are continuing.”
