Gardai appeal to public not to circulate social media speculation

Gardaí from Dundrum Garda Station continue to investigate the circumstances of the unexplained deaths of Seemu Banu and her two children, Fazan and Affira, discovered at Llywellen Court, Ballinteer shortly before midday on Wednesday.

Post Mortems, by Dr Heidi Okkers, Locum Assistant State Pathologist, on the three deceased remain ongoing and will be completed today.

An Garda Síochána say they are appealing to any person with any information in respect of these deaths to contact the investigation team at Dundrum Garda Station 01-6665600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

“Investigating Gardaí continue to appeal to members of the public not to circulate social media speculation, which is uninformed and unhelpful to the criminal investigation,” a garda spokesperson said.

“An Garda Síochána has no further comment at this time and a Garda spokesperson is not available.”
