Local hockey club hosts ‘I’m a Loreto celebrity’ show

LORETO Hockey Club launched their version of the hit TV series ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ in the Glenside pub Churchtown recently.

The Rathfarnham-based club is bringing their version to Dublin for the first time as part of their 2020 fundraising initiative.

Some 22 Loreto members and people from the local community will get to experience real challenges in front of a live audience.

Contestants will face hell holes, bugs, snakes, devour gourmet critters and overcome a series of tension filled trials until only the bravest will be crowned King or Queen of the Loreto Jungle! 

Loreto hopes this fundraiser, taking place in the Leopardstown Pavilion on Saturday, March 28, will help offset some of the unforeseen costs for the recently installed all-weather water based pitch and help fund a trip to Barcelona where the club will be representing Ireland.
