Best Parties Ever to create 150 new jobs

A ‘ROARING Twenties’ speakeasy will create 150 seasonal jobs as the Best Parties Ever concept returns to Dún Laoghaire Harbour for the second year in a row this November and December.

UK-based Eventist Group said the event is expecting to facilitate 20,000 guests and invest €500,000 into the local economy.

Alongside canapés on arrival, and a four-course-meal complete and a midnight ‘Survivors’ Breakfast’ for late-night revellers, the speakeasy-style ‘Roaring Twenties’ theme also boasts an unforgettable entertainment experience featuring saxophonists, an authentic 1920’s Cadillac, jazz acrobatics, flapper dancers, casino tables, bumper cars, and dessert theatres.

The return of the concept highlights its success in 2018 when more than 17,000 people turned up over the 20 nights it was run. It also signals Eventist Group’s long-term approach to investment in the Irish entertainment space.

The company plans to introduce more of its entertainment concepts to other Irish cities in the coming years.

The ‘Roaring Twenties’ theme sees Eventist Group shy away from the predictable end-of-year offering of snowflakes, elves and Santa.
