New student accommodation opens its doors in Dublin 8

GONE are the days of cramped student bedsits.

One of Dublin’s newest student accommodation schemes threw open its doors last week to offer a glance at what tenants will be offered.

Fresh Student Living, the company who will be managing the Brickworks building, held an ‘open house’ event for local businesses and prospective tenants to show off the array of fantastic facilities.

Although the site is still under construction visitors were treated to a preview of what the cinema room, gym, roof terrace and state-of-the-art study areas will look like.

They also got a first glimpse at one of the newly finished en-suite bedrooms and living areas.

Accommodation Manager, Gill Brady, said: “We are so proud of Brickworks and everything it has to offer anyone studying in the Dublin area. It was fantastic to show people round our great facilities. We work extremely hard at Fresh to ensure that all of our schemes deliver more than would be expected of standard student accommodation.

Students who stay with us will enjoy not only high-quality, modern living spaces but also the peace of mind that we are on hand to prioritise their wellbeing and ensure they are able to get the most out of student life.”

Brickworks, which officially opens at the end of August, is on Brickfield Lane, just off Cork Street in central Dublin 8.

It will sleep 276 students in single or twin rooms, each with access to a large shared living and kitchen area, with lots of cooking and storage space and a TV. In addition, all Fresh Student Living schemes offer additional services to help people get the best out of their time as a student.

Ms Brady added: “Our friendly on-site accommodation teams make sure everything runs smoothly. They also provide additional support during stressful periods. It is our ambition at Fresh to create thriving student communities where making new friends has never been easier.”
