Gardaí seek information after robbery at Killiney Shopping Centre

Gardaí at Dún Laoghaire Garda Station are appealing for information in relation to a cash-in-transit robbery which occurred at Killiney Shopping Centre at approximately 10.36am yesterday morning (Wednesday, September 19).

One male armed with what was described as a handgun threatened a security van driver and demanded cash, while a second male waited in a car nearby (a silver Nissan Micra). They both made their getaway towards the M50. No shots were discharged and no injuries were sustained. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Investigating gardaí have appealed for information from any member of the public who was in the vicinity of Killiney Shopping Centre and the surrounding area between 9.30am and 11.30am.
