Brewers hop on down to Food Fair

A NUMBER of Southside brewers will be taking their place at the Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair that returns to the Convention Centre Dublin for the sixth year from Thursday, March 8 to Saturday 10

Ireland’s largest gathering of craft brewers and distillers will feature more than 50 exhibitors including a number of leading breweries, distillers and food producers from Dublin City and county. 

 The Dublin breweries at the event will include Rascals Brewing Company, who are set to open a new brewery in Inchicore this year.

Four Provinces Brewing Company in Rathfarnham, a bi-lingual brewery co-founded by a former Dublin hurler and leading beer distributors, will also be there.

 Capturing the growing interest in craft spirits and cocktails, the event will feature a new ‘Distillers Quarter’, which will host a selection of craft spirits from the new Pearse Lyons Distillery in The Liberties, including Ha’penny Gin, Pearse Irish Whiskey and Míl Gin.

Dublin-based food companies in attendance will include J2 Sushi from the ISFC; Pieman, based in Temple Bar, Smokin’ Bones, from D2, Cornude Artisan Popcorn in The Liberties and The Rolling Donut from D1.

Attendees will also be entertained by music on the main stage, live Six Nations Rugby on three of the biggest screens in Dublin and a wide range of tasty eats to complement your favourite tipple.
