New video highlights the beauty of Dublin Bay

A NEW online film that highlights some of the many tourist attractions and sights scattered around Dublin Bay has been created by Tourism Ireland.

Entitled ‘Top Things to Do Around Dublin Bay’, the video offers potential visitors an understanding of the city’s location on the Irish Sea.

It shows how they can take in a “breath of fresh air” and combine the best of both urban and coastal getaways

 It also shows how the horseshoe-shaped bay is peppered with picturesque fishing villages, cafés, pubs and tranquil walks – all nestled between mountains and sea.

It features Kinney Hill, with its 360-degree views aound Dublin Bay and Dalkey with its “great pubs, cafes and living history”.

Over on the Northside some of the main attractions include Malahide Castle and the stretches of Bull Island.

The film is being promoted through Tourism Ireland’s various social platforms, including Facebook (with more than four million fans worldwide), Twitter (with 451,000 followers) and on the YouTube channel.
