DLR Chamber County Business Awards 2017
Dublin People 06 Oct 2017THE winners of the first ever Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Chamber County Business Awards were re-vealed recently at a glittering bash in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire.
The award winners were announced at a gala ginner hosted by MC Alan Shortt.
The main supporter of the inaugural DLR Chamber County Business Awards 2017 was Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
The cathaoirleach of the council, Cllr Tom Murphy, used the occasion to reiterate the council’s support for local business in the county.
"The council continues to be committed to supporting the development of local businesses in the county,” he said.
Patrick Neill, President DLR Chamber, added: “Dún Laoghaire Rathdown is a vibrant, progressive county predicting huge growth in employment in the years ahead.
“As the voice of business across the county, and as a voluntary business organisation, is proud to spearhead these awards in our county.”

Customer Service Retail Award – Small Retailer of the Year Winner: Cavistons Food Emporium
Customer Service Retail Award – Best Shopping Centre Winner: Dundrum Town Centre
Winner Formal Dining: Michael’s Mount Merrion
Winner Casual Dining: John Brady Group – Brady’s Shankill
Customer Service – Tourism and Hospitality Winner: Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel
Special Recognition Award for Sport Winner: Cuala GAA Club Dalkey
Special Recognition Award for Community Winner: Eilis Hession, HSE.
DLR Chamber also announced Michael Cosgrave as the Business Leader of the Year in the county 2017.
