Motorcyclist dies in Terenure collision

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on Terenure Road East this morning.

Shortly before 8am, a man in his 30s was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was riding struck a wall. The collision occurred on Terenure Road East at the junction with Ferrard Road.

He was treated at the scene by emergency services but died a short time later.

The crash site has been examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The body of the deceased man has been removed to Dublin City Morgue and the coroner has been notified.
