Teen dies after stabbing in Tallaght

GARDAÍ in Tallaght are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at Kilclare Crescent, Jobstown, this afternoon at approximately 3pm.

A male youth in his teens was removed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the Garda Technical Bureau is scheduled to attend later.

No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí have appealed to witnesses who may have been in the Kilclare area this afternoon, between 2.45p.m and 3.30pm, to contact them at Tallaght Garda Station on 01-666 6000, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
