Couple invite you to a right Royal ball
Dublin People 06 Mar 2016
A SOUTHSIDE couple is calling on local revellers to throw on their glad rags and get down to their Fundraiser Charity Ball on Saturday, March 19 in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.

Tara O’Neill and Graham Clarke are hoping to raise much needed funds for Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services in Harold’s Cross and Blackrock.
Since the first ball in 2013, over €8,000 has been raised for various charities and community groups in Dublin. The ambitious goal this year is to attract the largest attendance yet, with a target of 250 people, and to raise as much as €7,000.
The evening, which will showcase an ‘Oscars’ theme, will be supported by a live band, local DJ and a fully equipped silent disco, while a raffle is set to take place with top prizes including theatre and concert tickets for Billy Elliot in Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Bruce Springsteen and Macklemore in Croke Park, a signed Munster jersey, multiple gym memberships and hotel getaways.
Over the past three years, the fundraising event has supported charities such as Aware, Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Breast Cancer Ireland as part of 100 Minds, a social enterprise that brings together some of Ireland’s top college students, and connects them with one cause to achieve big goals in a short space of time.
Tickets for the ball, which include entry and a three course meal, are priced at €60, with doors opening at 7pm.
